Common sense #423:Taxes is directly propotional to profits
Obama want to cut tax break to company who are outsourcing but he forgets that the taxes are on profits made due to saving by outsourcing. So given a choice would any sane person want to make less profits just because they will pay less taxes. In my opinion the outsourcing really started when US company could not import talent due to the flawed US immigration policy of limiting H1 visa. One US company, started to let some of the work be done in India and then they realized they well might get everything done at half price. Stopping hard working legal immigrants to enter the country to pay taxes, add social security, buy property and add to the future talent pool, is pure short sightedness. Now with the outsourcing shut down, US company will run complete department from India hence depriving Americans of even managerial positions. There is a good initiative been taken up in Silicon valley where #startup visa is given to immigrant students from top universities. This will hopefully...
