When Professional's are worse than Amateurs

I was reading an interesting article The Experts vs. the Amateurs: A Tug of War over the Future of Media.
Undoubtly technology has played an important role in democratizing content. However this may no be the only reason for its popularity.

One of the biggest questions of Experts vs. Amateurs is Integrity. It is well known that Amateurs and internet cannot be trusted sources. However in today's date it is sad to say if the Experts can be trusted either. It is well known that magazines and newspaper have a huge bias and do not tell the truth either.

At least with Amateurs you can get the wisdom of crowds.
