AAP and Kejriwal
For a lot of us educated people have been tired of the main stream politics in the last few years and have been wanting a change... a voice in the policies. With AAP we were hoping that our voice will be heard. There was a wave of sympathy for him and his movement. He took an opportunity of people wanting an alternative and been able to capitalize on this better than anyone else (e.g. Loksakta). I wish his the very best to succeed and to a large extent he has already succeeded as he is initial agenda of corruption and clean vote has become a demand. But now what ? The question was if he can become a good administrator and deliver.
This would have remained unanswered if he had just won the votes in Delhi and not formed the government. He would be a martyr to some (and still maybe if the congress pull the rug). He may have been the great unfulfilled promise of the country if he was attacked.
For one I was glad he was able to make a government in the Delhi. Now we could judge if really have any substance. Yes, he is inexperienced and his team is even less inexperienced. They should be given time to learn. Time to learn that activism is different than governance.
However in the past month he has shown no hints of maturing. On the other hand the attitude has become with us or against us.
For example, you know that crime is a problem in Delhi. The police is not under your control. So instead of working with them, influencing them, the law minister has become the vigilante. He ordered the police to raid a house. The Indian police is corrupt but not stupid. They do know what and where the problem is and can solve is easily if they are given the free hand. Law minister was already in shroud of grey area with his indictment against witness tampering coming into picture. But instead of keeping a low profile, the Law minister with his flock, roughened up some foreign nationals, called them choices names, harassed them, made them take the drug test. Kejriwal himself came on television to defend the works of his colleague (a good leader always supports his team member). But now it has back fired. No drug abuse was found and the other side is called harassment and racialism. How has this helped in Delhi problems ? Has the law minister apologized ? Has he resigned which Kejriwal has been demanding from other parties.
Yes, AAP needs time to learn. It needs time to form a grassroots movement. It needs strategic tie ups. It needs good top management with people with the right fitment. However these will take time. But Kejriwal and AAP is in a hurry. They see this to be a wave where they can become king maker if not the kings.
The Congress is not too worried. They know they will loose and getting another loose cannon they can divide the vote bank. BJP is too self assured and think the Modi charm will get it the majority. Left does not have any agenda left and its biggest supporter 'The Hindu' also seeing difting to AAP
At the end there will be a fragmented mandate. A 3rd front collation will be formed with AAP and all the other corrupt parties who it rallied against corruption. They will be propped against the BJP and a secular 3rd front will be supported by Congress. After few months or maybe a year, this party will break due to its own infighting and stupidity. Congress will come back to power as the only party which can maintain unity and provide stability. And so history will repeat. The country be dammed. The poor will remain where they are. The road will be broken. Corruption will remain rampant.
Maybe it is the trait of us Indian to self destruct. It is our short term vision and our infighting. Our gross selfishness and our attitude not not working hard. We deserve AAP as much as AAP deserves us.

Many ambitious PM in waiting in so called third front like Mulayam, Nitish, Jayalalitha, Kejriwal is good news since at the inception they will surely kill the very idea of govt. formation.
